Come dine with your favourite Sesame Street characters here at Kumoya’s Sesame Street pop-up cafe!
Sesame Street is a longtime favourite cartoon of both children and adults, and it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Kumoya Singapore has brought this show from TV to real life and transformed it into an adorable Sesame Street cafe. It has already been open to the public since 26 September 2019, so you may already have seen it on your social media feed, and it’ll be around all the way until 29 December 2019.
Kumoya is well-known for the first in Singapore and South-East Asia to specialise in pop-up themed cafes. Since it changes its theme every 3 months, the brand naturally has new and exciting menus now and then.
This time around, the menu focuses on Sesame Street-inspired dishes that remind some of us of our blissful childhood.
Consisting of six snacks, four mains, four desserts and eight drinks, I’m sure this new menu is bound to make us reminiscence the good times we spent watching Sesame Street.
The snacks are available from S$11.90 to S$13.90 each. The mains are the stars of this new menu, with dishes inspired by the main characters in Sesame Street. Two of the dishes you should try are the adorable Elmo Curry Rice (S$26.90) and Oscar Teriyaki Chicken Burger (S$24.90).
The new menu also has a lineup of whimsical desserts and drinks, if you’re more interested in sweet treats. The Cookie Monster Choc Cake (S$18.90) and the Elmo/Big Bird Fluffy Sora (S$15.90) look like they could definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!
Sesame Street has definitely left good childhood memories and seeing the menu makes me reminiscence my childhood. I can’t wait to head down to try out the dishes!
