For these three days, their signature Fried Kway Teow will be retailing at half price for only S$2.50 (U.P. S$5). And to reminisce the old kampung spirit, diners can bring their own egg to get their plate of kway teow for only S$2!
Liang Ji Kway Teow King, in fact, is not the only hawker involved in a similar #NDP2020 promotion. In an attempt to revive the local hawker scene that took a strong blow from the COVID-19 pandemic, several other hawkers such as Da Boomz and Elvin Economic Rice have also come up with S$2 promotions just for this period.
Mr Neo, the owner of Liang Ji Kway Teow King, mentioned in his recent Facebook post that the purpose of this promotion is a gesture of gratitude to his supporters and friends. Not only that, but he also hopes that the #NDP2020 promotions will attract diners back to dining-in at hawker centres to help vendors survive through these difficult times.
