Joining the ranks of Tarte by Cheryl Koh, Wunderfolks is the newest tart shop in town, focusing on churning out fresh batches of these sweet treats. Opening on 10 January 2021, this bakery in Queenstown actually started as an online bakery back in October of 2019. It’s small and quaint new shopfront offers a collection point for online pre-orders as well as walk-in customers.
Variety is what Wunderfolks has, for their menu boasts an array of tarts for all the sweet tooths out there. First up, the Fruitilicious Fruit Tart (S$45.00 for 9 inch) presents a mix of vanilla custard, strawberries, blueberries, green grapes, and peaches atop a pâte sablée crust. It offers a refreshing burst of flavours that would no doubt whet your appetite.

Next, the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Tart (S$45.00 for 9 inch) offers a rich Valrhona Guanoja and Callebaut N° 811 ganache. It’s deep, intense notes of dark chocolate will win over any cocoa fanatic. If that’s not your thing, the Lemony Meringue Tart (S$45.00 for 9 inch) provides a zesty and tangy flavour profile to excite your taste buds.

Do note that Wunderfolks is also running a soft launch promotion. Customers can preorder a 6 Tart Box for S$30 (U.P S$48) which features 6 mini tarts with two of each of the above three flavours. It’s a perfect option if you’re looking to sample all three of their flavours.
