Previously known as Asyraf’s Halal Corner from Shenton Way, it all changed when they moved to Bedok North in the early 2000s where they rebranded as The Halal Corner. Currently running two more stalls at Yishun and Jurong West, the brand has always been big on creating fusion dishes—and it’s no surprise that they’re churning out more.

Starting off with the hell-raising Spaghetti Kampung (S$7.50), the dish is made with freshly pounded sambal, and topped with prawns, keropok (fried crackers), and a sunny side up. As advertised by The Halal Corner, it won’t take long for its fragrance to pique your sense.

Their next dish is a fusion of Italy and Korea; the Spicy Samyang Carbonara (S$8.50) is no dish for the faint-hearted. Think iconic fiery samyang but with zero trips to the toilet after. Not found packed in your regular pink-hued instant noodles packet, the spicy samyang is truly for the thrill- and heat-seeking aficionados.

Both dishes will be available for dine-in at all outlets for a limited time only. Be sure to head on down to The Halal Corner when you can to put your taste buds through the ring of fire.
