Every foodie’s dream is essentially to be able to experience every type of cuisine known to man. Luckily, Penangites have the opportunity to do so at Penang International Food Festival 2023 that’s taking place from 3 to 25 Jun 2023! In an effort to draw in visitors to the state, this food fiesta celebrates local flavours and the culture that surrounds it, while also shedding light on cuisine from all around the globe.

Don’t miss out on the main events happening throughout the month: Gourmet Stars of Penang will guide you through Michelin Guide food stalls and legendary Penang hawkers from 9 to 10 Jun at one of Penang’s most well known historical sites, Fort Cornwallis.

Another event to keep your eyes on is the Penang Food Festival, the grand finale to this month-long event. On 24 and 25 Jun, food trucks, restaurants, and cafes will gather at Setia SPICE Rooftop Garden for a celebration of Penang’s best local eats. Lay down your picnic mat and feast on the delicious food, surrounded by art and live music.

The Penang Food party doesn’t stop there. On top of all those festivities, there will also be mini festivals scattered throughout the month. On 11 Jun, take part in the Malam BBQ at Kampung Terus for some juicy grilled goods with the view of a paddy field. 3 days later on 14 Jun, the government initiated event Rasa² Rahmah at Farlim Night Market will allow guests to enjoy food at affordable prices.

If relaxing under the stars is your jam, you may want to go for the Santai Under the Sky event on 16 Jun at Batu Maung Foodies, while lovers of seafood looking for their prawn, crab, or fish fix should join Seafest happening on 17 Jun at the Batu Kawan Stadium car park.
