When it was announced Cereal Chicken would be disappearing from KFC‘s counters in Aug 2021, many Singaporeans scrambled for a last taste. No need to stay sad as KFC plans to bring it back, better than ever from 10 Jul to 22 Aug 2023!
There is good reason for the popularity of KFC‘s Cereal Chicken. The buttery cereal is wok-fried with lovely aromatic curry leaves while fresh chilli flavours the piping hot chicken, creating an iconic balance between sweet, savoury and spicy.
Personally, I adored the kick from the cereal, which went incredibly with the light sweetness. A word of advice would be to dip the chicken into the mashed potato for pure heaven.
