This innovative coffee shop concept is the brainchild of renowned Chef S R Bala, celebrated in the culinary realm both locally and overseas. He meticulously curated a team of highly-skilled chefs, personally selecting them to unite our beloved local delicacies under one roof.

Now, you must be dying to find out what there is to makan at this spanking new kopitiam; allow me to provide you with the details without delay!

For those residing in Hougang, you may be familiar with the now-defunct Prata Lahhh!, owned by Ghauthaman Ramanan (Gautham for short). His family comes from the Casuarina Curry prata franchise and has setup SG Prata by PRATA LAHHH!.

Diners will have the opportunity to relish his inventive prata creations, including Egg’s Benedict (S$4.50), Sardine Roll (S$4), and the crowd-favourite DIY Prata (from S$0.80 – S$3 per ingredient). This customisable prata experience boasts a wide array of ingredients such as Mutton Keema, Ikan Bilis, Prawn, Honey, Condensed Milk, Chocolate, and more; allowing you to let your culinary imagination run wild.

SG BBQ by Pondok serves scrumptious dishes bursting with smokey goodness. Bob is carrying on his dad’s legacy from the Satay Club and went on to setup Pondok Satay at Adam Road Hawker Centre.

Feast on juicy BBQ Chicken Wing (S$4.80 for 3 pieces), Satay (Chicken/Beef/Mutton) (S$10.80 for 12 sticks) and Prawn Satay (S$12 for 6 sticks).

For aficionados of nasi padang, SG KAMPUNG by Nur Indah is a must-visit. Mr. Sakuwan Bin Jumangin and his wife, Rosie, are the proud owners of this establishment. They initially started off at SAT’s Changi Airport and later moved to Bedok Corner Food Centre.

The new branch at SG Food Court includes options like Nasi Ambeng Dulang (S$56.90 for 4 pax) which has a total of 13 dishes. There will also be Nasi Padang Kampung which offers up to 49 dishes (S$1-S$6 per serve).

SG Nasi Lemak by Jetaway Food is owned by Ephraim who partnered with a highly-experienced F&B entrepreneur from Malaysia. They previously owned a stall at Kovan and are well-known for their loaded portions and killer sambal.

Apart from their Signature Nasi Lemak XL Chicken (S$6.90) and Kampung Fried Rice (S$5.50), there will be new dishes offered here like Mala Fried Rice (S$5.50) and Nasi Lemak Kicap Manis Chilli Chicken (S$6.90).

If you love classic western dishes with a twist, check out SG Western by My Way Fusion Kitchen which is owned by Mr Ben Kway. Previously operating at Aljunied Industrial Centre, Ben brings creative dishes such as Wasabi Chicken Pizza (S$12.50) and Hae Bi Hiam Pasta Goreng (S$12.50).

For those exploring the Changi Village neighbourhood on 10 Nov 2023, why not head down to SG Food Court between 6.30pm – 9pm? There will be free bandung tasting, 1-for-1 for food and even a chance to win dining vouchers!
