While Singapore has no shortage of great laksa eateries, you’ll be sad to know that we’ll soon be losing one of these gems. Jelebu Dry Laksa will be closing the doors to its VivoCity restaurant on 16 Feb 2024, putting a number to the days you’ll get to savour its highly-raved dry laksa.

Helmed by Chef Renée Tang, Jelebu Dry Laksa saw humble beginnings as a home-based business started at the height of Covid-19. Gaining rapid popularity for its dry laksa made atas with premium seafood, the business was propelled to open a full-fledged restaurant at VivoCity in 2022.

To date, the Grilled Prawn Dry Laksa (S$18) continues to receive rave reviews, firstly owing to Chef Renée’s one-of-a-kind rempah that gets its rich flavours from a carefully-proportioned mix of herbs and spices.

The restaurant offers several variations of this seafood dry laksa with other types of seafood, including Crispy Squid Dry Laksa (S$14) and Soft Shell Crab Dry Laksa (S$24). There’s even a Kosong (S$13) option for those who don’t fancy seafood.
