If you are bored of the same old self-serve buffets at restaurants, here’s a new concept to check out— the French restaurant in Orchard Road, Summer Hill, has launched its Brunch Trolley, a unique buffet concept in which dishes are served from a roving trolley.

Unlike most other buffets that require for diners to physically take their own food, the Brunch Trolley at Summer Hill operates out of trolleys that are pushed around the restaurant in the style of a traditional dim sum cart— simply ask for a portion of whatever dish is being served from the cart to enjoy your food without having to leave the comfort of your seat.

The Brunch Trolley costs S$69++ per pax, and includes free-flow iced tea. Add on S$69++ per pax for free-flow prosecco, red wine and white wine for 2 hours. Thinking of bringing the whole family down? Children will get to enjoy the Buffet Kids Trolley, priced at S$25++ per child.

Looking for a place to dine during Easter? 30 and 31 Mar 2024, Summer Hill will be having its special Easter Brunch Trolley, which includes exclusive dishes that aren’t on the regular Brunch Trolley.

The Brunch Trolley has over 10 mains and 5 desserts for you to choose from. Although the variety is smaller than regular buffets, each dish served here is of the highest quality, Allowing you to enjoy the perfect brunch experience at an affordable price.

Start your meal with a serving of dishes like Mussels Normandy, Ham & Brie Sandwiches, Sausage Rolls and Marinated Tomato & Ricotta Salad— the last one was my favourite, especially when paired with the crisp and buttery sourdough toast served on this cart.

summer hill - steak & eggs

Other free-flow dishes not to miss are the crispy Duck Fat Fries and the Seabream w/ Sauce Vierge. My favourite was the Steak & Eggs— the steak was soft with just the right amount of fat to make it even more indulgent while the eggs were creamy and packed full of flavour.

In need of a fibre boost? Get the Zucchini Conserva or Brussel Sprouts Amandine, both of which are super tasty and may appeal to even those who typically dislike vegetables.

summer hill - braised lamb shoulder dipper

For those visiting for the Easter Brunch Trolley, you’ll get to indulge in the Classic Roast Chicken, which is incredibly tender, and the Braised Lamb Shoulder Dipper— watch as an adorable little slider is assembled right before your eyes.

Meanwhile, the Buffet Kids Trolley offers delicious treats like Housemade Popcorn Chicken, Bacon & Mushroom Alfredo Pasta and Forever Fries to cater to young palates.

summer hill - desserts

Don’t fill up too much on the mains as you must save some space for the delectable desserts at Summer Hill! For a sweet yet aromatic treat, delight yourself in the Pear Frangipane Tart, Warm Banana Bread w/ Salted Rum Caramel and Chocolate Stout Cake w/ Irish Coffee Whipped Cream. The Pistachio Crème Brûlée is another mind-blowing sweet treat that is creamy, fragrant and nutty all at once.

There’s also a DIY Snow Cone Bar where you can customise your very own snow cones by selecting your preferred syrup flavours and toppings.

Summer Hill is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious get-together with your loved ones and family, with amazing high quality dishes and desserts to indulge in. Give it a try for yourself today!
