Looking for things to do this August? Impress your date by bringing them to an outdoor movie screening at Films At The Fort by Glenfiddich! Celebrating its 10th year, this open-air cinema will screen movies from 1 to 18 Aug 2024 at Fort Canning Green.
With a lineup of 8 movies ranging from nostalgic classics to award-winning hits, there’s something for everyone. If you want a casual movie night filled with laughs, consider grabbing tickets to The Fall Guy (2024) or Mean Girls (2024). If you’re into inspiring masterpieces, don’t miss screenings of One Life (2023), Oppenheimer (2023) and more!
Movies start at 7:45pm (except for Oppenheimer at 7:30pm), but gates open at 5:30pm. This gives you plenty of time to find the best spot, set up a nice picnic mat and relax with your date. As the sun sets, cosy up to the sounds of DJs and instrumentalists playing in the background.
Feel free to bring your own munchies to the event, but keep in mind that outside alcohol is a no-go! Don’t worry — every ticket includes a refreshing Glenfiddich cocktail. If you or your date prefer non-alcoholic drinks, you can swap out the cocktail for two non-alcoholic beverages instead. Plus, there’s an onsite bar with more drink options should you be up for more drinks throughout the evening.
