If you’re a fan of Malaysia’s vibrant food scene or food fairs in general, you’ll love this piece of news. Absolut Food Festival is making its Singapore debut from 16 to 18 Aug. You can find this popular Malaysian food fair at the Kallang open carpark, near the Singapore National Stadium.
This is the first time the popular Malaysian food fair is gracing Singapore’s shores, and it’s coming in full force. You’ll definitely be spoilt for choices here. Hundreds, in fact! Absolut Food Festival Singapore will host a whopping 130 booths showcasing food and retail brands from Malaysia and Singapore. Whether you’re craving something familiar or looking to try something new, you’ll find plenty to love among the hundreds of offerings.
Savour an assortment of Malaysian and Singaporean dishes. You can even expect to see booths occupied by popular local brands like Frites, Broti, Rumi the Poet’s Cup. Keep an eye and your phone out for viral dishes like Kunafas and “pour-it-yourself” cakes. Malaysian cake shop Absolut Chocolat will bring these trendy cakes to us, so you can try them without having to cross the border.
But the fun doesn’t stop at the food. The festival will also feature appearances by Malaysian celebrities and personalities like former actor and film director, Hairul Azreen. Plus, you can let loose and enjoy live performances and game booths. There are lots of exciting prizes lined up. Rumour has it that there’s a ‘Gold Grab Challenge’ for the first 100 visitors to try their luck.
