Nestled in the peaceful greenery of Taman Subang Ria, トモ トモ Tomo Tomo is the perfect destination for those craving a nostalgic experience of old-school Japan.

This place is unlike your typical Japanese cafe in Malaysia. Its exterior mirrors the charm of a classic Kyoto tea shop, while the interior, with its rich brown tones and wooden accents, creates a warm and inviting space. They’ve carefully crafted every detail to ensure maximum comfort for visitors.

On top of that, it’s perfectly located facing the Setia Jaya KTM railway, offering a picturesque view of passing trains as you enjoy your coffee — just like a scene from a shoujo anime. How cool is that?

Having recently opened, トモ トモ Tomo Tomo’s current menu might seem a bit limited to some. However, their offerings of Japanese soul food and traditional beverages are more than enough to give you a taste of the authentic experience the cafe has to offer.

Their first dish, Gyudon, features steaming short-grain rice topped with Angus ribeye, onions, an onsen egg, and sweet soy sauce, finished with negi (Japanese long onions). Each serving comes with marinated ginger for an extra kick.

Treat yourself to their Miso Caramel Croffle — a crispy, buttery pastry drizzled with caramel sauce infused with the deep flavours of miso and topped with ice cream. It’s a magical sweet-and-savoury combo.

In classic Japanese cafe style, enjoy トモ トモ Tomo Tomo’s signature blends, including ceremonial-grade Gokou Matcha, Chai Genmaicha Latte, and Black Sesame Hojicha.

Mark your calendar for their reopening and get ready to experience the timeless charm and tradition they have in store!
