Singapore’s premier anime and J-culture festival, Anime Festival Asia, is back with its latest instalment! From 28 to 30 Nov 2025, experience the best that Singapore’s anime and manga community has to offer at Suntec Singapore Exhibition & Convention Centre.

We had the opportunity to head down for a sneak peek of the exciting things they’ve prepared this year. From cosplayer meet & greets to fun booth activities and exclusive merchandise, AFA has it all!

Illustrator LAM is back for yet another year at AFA, with an exhibition showcasing his work! Even if his name doesn’t ring a bell, his art surely will. LAM has drawn art for Vocaloid Producers like Kanaria, character designs for the anime Takt:op Destiny, and designed virtual YouTubers (vtubers) like Hololive Indonesia’s Kureiji Ollie!

You can purchase items like desk mats and LAM’s art book IKADUCHI (S$55) at the exhibition. Those who purchase the art book have a chance of getting it personally signed by LAM himself!

The annual Akiba Stage has also been upgraded to the NEXT Stage, with a brand-new layout. One of them is the Cho-Bon Dance. Jam together with eccentric performers and enthusiastic DJs on a raised platform stage, with simple-to-follow dances taught on the fly by professional choreographers.

We can’t forget this year’s star-studded line-up for the Day Stage. On 29 Nov, join content creator and YouTube sensation Gigguk as he discusses his new anime short film Bâan, which is free to watch on YouTube! Vtuber Otsuka Ray and her 5-year-old daughter Reika will also be there on 30 Nov for a special guest showcase.
Top voice actors and actresses from Japan will also be joining the Day Stage cast throughout the weekend. Look forward to voice actors Sally Amaki, Kana Ichinose, Sayumi Suzushiro, and many more!
For S$70, you can also attend a Meet & Greet session featuring the abovementioned talents, as well as Thai cosplayer Thames Malerose. Book your meet & greet at Eventbrite.

Cap your day off with the I Love Anisong Music Festival, AFA’s annual night concert, where they fly the best of the best in J-Pop and anisong for a 3-night celebration. This year’s line-up is incredibly stacked, with big names like fhana, Hachioji-P, and SPYAIR.
Fan favourites like Sally Amaki and the beloved May’n are here, too. This will also be the first time ClariS performs as a trio in Singapore, ever since newcomers Ellie and Anna joined the group. You can get tickets at Ticketmaster, with prices starting at S$158 for one night.
If you purchase a CAT 1 or 2 ticket, you stand a chance at winning an autographed poster from the performers!

If anything here has got you excited, you can purchase your tickets at Ticketmaster starting at S$22 at an early-bird price. To recap, S$35 earns you access to the Day Stage, and S$158 gets you into the night concert. All tiers of tickets give you every benefit of the lower tiers.
