If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a K-pop idol, or just want to explore a new virtual experience, this is for you. Next Idol: Your K-pop Moment is an immersive journey that is coming soon to Parkview Square on 23 Jan. Beyond just a show, you will get to step into a futuristic virtual universe as a K-pop idol on a mission.
With the latest cutting-edge technologies, you will experience cinematic storytelling with interactive elements, accompanied by K-pop visuals and songs. Visitors to this exhibition will also travel between different eras from 2026 to 2050, taking on the role of a time-travelling idol.
Through this exhibition, your dreams of experiencing a K-pop idol’s activities, from designing album covers to receiving a complete K-pop makeover, will come true. You will also see yourself participating in interactive choreography and stage visuals, while becoming a hyper-realistic AI-generated idol version of yourself. You will even have stylised outfits and stage-ready looks to complete the experience.
As you shape reality using emotion, rhythm and energy, watch the space around you shift with 360° projections. According to the event site, you can expect to spend about an hour in this experience.
