From 24 Jun to 30 Aug 2026, the Singapore Oceanarium becomes home to POP MART’s largest CRYBABY activation to date, Cry Me an Ocean. This experience blends marine discovery with emotional storytelling in a single immersive setting.
Created in collaboration with Resorts World Sentosa and the Singapore Tourism Board, the activation brings together art, design and ocean life in a way that feels both playful and reflective.

Inside the space, CRYBABY is reimagined through a series of marine-inspired installations that draw from both underwater ecosystems and human emotion. Visitors can expect large-scale sculptures, themed inflatables and interactive photo spots that reinterpret familiar ocean scenes through a softer, more expressive visual style.
A key highlight is the introduction of 7 newly designed CRYBABY characters, each inspired by different aspects of marine life. These characters are placed across the Singapore Oceanarium, WEAVE and a dedicated POP MART pop-up store, forming a connected trail that encourages visitors to move through the space at their own pace while uncovering visual surprises along the way.

Instead of standing apart, the installation nestles beside real marine habitats within the Oceanarium. This careful arrangement establishes a gentle dialogue between living sea creatures and imaginative artistry, inviting guests to witness both the wonders of nature and the creative echoes they inspire.
The adventure continues at an on-site pop-up store, where visitors can discover exclusive Cry Me an Ocean merchandise, including special items from the anticipated 15 May release.
Included with standard admission, the activation costs S$55 for adults and S$43 for seniors or children. It remains accessible to a wide range of visitors while offering a refreshed way to engage with the Oceanarium.
Ultimately, Cry Me an Ocean transforms the way we encounter marine life, weaving together storytelling, striking visuals and emotion to create an experience that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
