As Clouds Cafe – JB’s 1st alpaca cafe becomes a hit with kids & animal lovers

Have you ever dined at a cafe where animals can be seen roaming around? This is most commonly seen in places like pet cafes or pet-friendly restaurants. And now, dog cafes and alpaca cafes are starting to become popular in Malaysia. There is one such place situated in the town of Skudai in JB, called As Clouds Cafe.

This isn’t your average cafe— here, adorable alpacas roam freely, creating a unique ambiance for your coffee break. Patrons can even feed them carrots while they are moving around! How cute is that? I’d imagine this as the ideal spot for kids to dine with their families and friends.

As Clouds Cafe opens at 11am,  it’s better to visit earlier as it gets packed later in the day.

The menu features a mix of Western and fusion food. Dishes like Fish & Chips (RM25.90) and Japanese Katsu Curry Chicken Chop Omurice (RM23.90) are a few of the best sellers here. 

The Fish & Chips comes with deep-fried tempura fish with mixed salad and tartar sauce.  And, the Japanese Katsu Curry Chicken Chop Omurice consists of rice placed underneath an omelette with a Japanese curry sauce. This is paired with a fried breaded chicken chop, potatoes, and carrots.

Additionally, the coffee and matcha teas served here, such as the Cafe Latte (RM11.90) and Hot Yuri Matcha (RM14.90), are among their selected beverages you can choose from.
