Brown sugar boba milk with cheese brûlée is all the rage here. But what about boba desserts?
Meet the “world’s first” Bubble Milk Tea Brûlée Cheesecake, currently available at bar-restaurant The Burwood Hotel in Sydney, NSW.
Milk tea flavoured cheesecake is topped with vanilla custard and sprinkled with sugar, before being blowtorched to create a crispy brûlée layer.
Pour the jar of tapioca boba onto the plate and you can dive right in.
The cheesecake is available during the opening hours, and can be found on the regular food menu.
Coming from a bar known for their Asian-Western snacks and alcoholic boba teas, this is very on-brand.
If you’re going to try some of the fun fusion dishes they offer, such as the Cheese Burger Spring Rolls and Nuclear Fire Noodle Fries (there’s even an extreme version), you might as well get dessert.
Boba desserts are slowly gaining traction all around the globe. It seems like you can put tapioca pearls on literally anything. Are you feeling inspired to make a dessert of your own?
