If you’re the kind who lives for novelty brown sugar boba or bubble tea creations, you’ll go crazy for this.
Good Partner (好夥伴咖啡) is a fusion Italian cafe in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and they’ve come up with a bunch of exciting boba-centric specials in their latest summer menu.
Take a look at the Brown Sugar Pearl Thick Milk Souffle Pancake 黑糖珍珠厚奶舒芙蕾 (NT$190).
The towering stack of fluffy souffle pancakes is slathered in a rich milk tea sauce and topped with brown sugar pearls.
The controversial milk tea hotpot; you’ll either hate it or love it.
Perhaps you’ll want to give this Assam Milk Tea Hotpot With Pork 阿薩姆奶茶鍋 + 梅花豬 (NT$310 for 5oz) a go. Switch it up with different cuts of beef and seafood in varying portion sizes. Only limited portions are available daily, so call ahead to reserve if you’re keen.
Feel free to add on a Milk Tea Bear (阿薩姆奶茶鍋) for NT$100, because why not?
Now for the most interesting special – Oven Baked Pearl Milk Tea Pizza 爐烤珍珠奶茶披薩 (NT$160). Yes, there is actual cheese on top.
This sweet, salty and milky combination isn’t for everyone, but it’s sure to please all those hardcore boba fanatics out there.
The menu wouldn’t be complete without the original beverage that started it all. Settle down with a Brown Sugar Thick Milk Tea 黑糖厚奶撞珍珠奶茶 (NT$90) and call it a day.
Good Partner has three branches in Taiwan, but this main outlet, in particular, serves the entire range of boba offerings.
Innovative or excessive? You can be the judge.
