Our favourite bakery BreadTalk has come up with yet another way of delighting us with their new series of Chilled Buns.

Featuring soft chewy pastries enveloping locally-inspired fillings, these Chilled Buns sound like the refreshment we need on a warm day.

One of the most promising, in my opinion, is the Rosie (S$2). This is a buttery, rose-layered pastry surrounding a chilled, creamy custard and topped with dried rose petals. This BreadTalk Chilled Bun promises to taste as delicious as it looks.

The rose flavouring of this bun is undoubtedly inspired by the bandung drink popularly served in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The enticing red and white layers in this filling sound like just the cooling treat we need on a hot day.

Another tempting flavour is the Kaya Prince (S$2), bringing us the familiar comfort of pandan and coconut in a soft, fluffy bun. Its light green pastry also shows that the dough has been flavoured with pandan, which is always a plus.

To complete the trio, the Custard Cloud (S$2) also promises to satisfy your custard and cream cravings.

From now till 31 August 2020, enjoy a bundle deal with three BreadTalk Chilled Buns of your flavour choice for S$5. These buns keep for up to two days in the refrigerator (including day of delivery), so you don’t have to worry about eating all at a go. That is, if you can resist finishing it all at once.

Date & Time: Now available in BreadTalk’s stores and e-shop. Bundle deal available till 31 August 2020

Price: S$2 per bun, S$5 for three
