Popular bakery chain, Butter Town, is launching what they call the Shio Pan ATM: a shio pan vending machine! As the first and only of its kind, this is the brand’s attempt to bring Singapore’s bread scene to the next level!
Butter Town’s first Shio Pan ATM will be unveiled to the public on 16 Jan at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre. If you hurry, you can catch their soft opening promotion on 16 and 17 Jan – 50% off all ATM products!
To maintain quality and freshness, the buns are sealed in the machine at an optimal temperature. Restocks will be done daily at 12.30pm and 5pm, and all unsold bakes removed by 9pm.
To bread lovers, Butter Town is no stranger – it’s famous for its shio pans (Japanese salted butter rolls) and sourdough cakes. It’s developed quite a following by fans (yours truly included) who’ve fallen in love with the fluffy, fragrant buns which come in various flavours.
Serene, co-founder of Butter Town, says their ultimate goal is to make their beloved shio pans more accessible to customers without compromising affordability and quality. The unmanned Shio Pan ATM is their take on Singapore’s ever-evolving F&B landscape where rent is high and manpower is scarce.
That’s not all. They’ve also recently launched their limited edition Chinese New Year Bolo Shio Pan series, available till the end of Feb. These will be sold through the vending machine alongside usual menu items till the promotional period ends.
The CNY flavours are Pineapple Bolo, Apple Cinnamon Bolo and Pistachio Cranberry Bolo Shio Pan (S$4 across all outlets).
Besides the CNY Bolo series, the soft opening 50% offer applies for the OG, Au Chocolat and Garlic Cheese Shio Pans.
Butter Town doesn’t intend to stop at one Shio Pan ATM. In fact, they’re searching for more locations islandwide, hoping to expand their project and bring buttery joy closer to shio pan lovers everywhere.
