Apart from being a food haven, Causeway Point, the seventh-largest suburban shopping mall in Singapore, is a shopper’s paradise with over 250 shops across 7 floors. If you’ve been to the mall in the North, you might be thinking: What is there to buy at Causeway Point?

Besides franchise-owned anchor tenants such as Courts, Food Republic, Kiddy Palace and Metro, did you know that the mall is home to a diverse but small number of indie stores?

Here’s what else to buy at Causeway Point with our list of 10 indie stores at the mall. For this list, we define an indie store as one with 5 or fewer outlets across Singapore.

1. Oh! Sunny

what to buy at causeway point - oh!sunny! exterior

Oh! Sunny is a sunwear protection clothing brand on Level 2 of the mall. Its clothes block 99.9 percent of ultraviolet rays and are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Suitable for our hot climate, a sun protection hoodie costs S$150. A pair of Bermuda shorts will set you back by S$50 – S$70, and a pair of women’s gloves by S$25. A women’s sports skirt costs S$55, while a unisex cuffed beanie costs S$45 – S$60.

Purchase any two items at the indie store and get 20 percent off the second item.

2. Couple Lab

Founded over a decade ago, Couple Lab is a custom jewellery store. It designs and manufactures jewellery such as rings, necklaces, cufflinks, bracelets and keychains.

A surgical steel key ring costs S$118 for a heart-shaped design and S$98 for a circular design. A round and heart-shaped magnetic bracelet costs S$128 each.

They sell Anklets for S$88/piece and Laser/Nameplate Certificate Holders for S$118/S$268. Their signature jewellery is their Couple Rings (S$48-S$158 per pair). You can also opt to buy the rings individually for slightly more than half price.

If you are looking to add a personalised touch to things you own or that special gift of yours, they also do laser engraving for non-in-house products. This service is ideal for messages, serial numbers, logos and signatures on individual items and for bulk orders.

Also located at Tiong Bahru Plaza and Northpoint City, Time Studio is a retailer of quality watches for men and women. Brands they carry include Royal Crown, G-Shock and Coach.

The average G-Shock watch costs S$179. Cheaper Casio models cost S$30 – S$40. If your pursestrings are tight, purchase Bluelite watches at a steal at S$18 – S$20/piece.

If you are a watch collector, the indie store also stocks vintage Casio watches (S$55 – S$95). The store’s most expensive item is probably its luxury watches. A Movado MV31 watch, for example, is priced at S$835 and an MV48 watch has a price tag of S$1510.

Their smartwatches are priced affordably, at S$139 for a Hifuture Ultra2Pro and S$99 for a HiFuture Zone2. The latter, for instance, has cutting-edge features such as a 1.96-inch IPS display, health monitoring, IP68 waterproof, wireless calling and 7-day battery life.

The prices of their phone cases and accessories are on the steeper end (S$19 – S$23 for iPhone 15 Pro Max, S$15 – S$23 for an iPhone 16 & S$15 for a phone ring holder).

A camera lens protector for an iPhone costs S$12 for a metallic cover and S$15 for a diamond set. A tempered glass cover (clear/matte) for your phone starts from S$10.

You can also purchase an alarm clock for S$18, a mug for S$15 and a water bottle (S$23). The only thing that is arguably a steal here is their earphones (S$10 – S$15).
