Fans of Chee Cheong Fun Club, it’s time to make your final trip down to the stall before its shut for good on 23 Jul 2023.

Located at the bustling Maxwell Food Centre, Chee Cheong Fun Club isn’t your ordinary CCF store. Instead, they serve KL-Style curry and laksa chee cheong fun.

The stall has been in business for over 5 years, and they have gained a pretty big following for their unique CCF offerings. They sell out really fast, so I guess their fan base is quite devoted.

Even among their more traditional dishes, their 3 Sauces Sampler/ Mixed Sauces CCF (HK Snack) (S$3.80) stands out. This dish blends all 3 of their traditional CCF dishes together, blending red sauce, classic Malaysian black sauce as well as HK-style sesame sauce.

This CCF here is said to be slightly chewy and bouncy, too, so you can bet it’ll make for a great brunch fix.

Chee Cheong Fun Club - Signature Dish

The signature dish at Chee Cheong Fun Club would be their KL Famous Curry CCF (S$4.50). The owner grew up in Kuala Lumpur and it seems that the dish is really popular there. If you like spice, this dish will leave you wanting more. It is said to be extremely flavourful and comes with the flat type of rice roll that’s silky smooth and slightly elastic.

It’s quite a pity that Maxwell Food Centre will be losing an amazing breakfast and lunch spot, but here’s to hoping that this won’t be the last we see of them. Time to hurry down to Chee Cheong Fun Club for a taste of their unique CCF before it’s gone!
