Above serving customers commercially, a chef’s heart is truly to feed. In conjunction with Project Happy Feet’s 10th anniversary, they’re bringing back Chefs For A Cause.
The celebratory event hosts 14 chefs from your favourite restaurants such as Daniel Sia and Benjamin Tan (The White Rabbit), Forest Leong (Sam Leong @ Forest), Robert Chan (PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road), and more.
Guest of Honor Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence & Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mayor, South East District, will also join the kitchen to prepare special dishes for auction.
These notable chefs will gather at HUONE in Clarke Quay on 7 July 2019.
On the menu are 13 dishes that capture the Asian and Western flair of the 14 chefs. Delicacies to expect are the Braised Thai Vermicelli With Prawns, Chicken Bulgogi Taco, Durian Puff, and Crème Brulee Souffle Pancakes.
All proceeds from the culinary event will be donated to South East CDC and This Life Cambodia, which aid in providing education for underprivileged children.
There’s a saying amongst my friends that I live to eat, while others eat to live. Giving back to the community through what you’re passionate about makes the job worthwhile.
