We’re well into Phase 2 of safe re-opening, but for the homebodies amongst us who have gotten used to staying home, here’s how you can still party hard.

Sethlui.com And Moonstone Bar Presents Cloud Cocktail Pairing Experience 4 July Online 4

Join the team at SethLui.com on 4 July 2020 for good grub and carefully-crafted cocktails, brought to you by Moonstone Bar & Mason Kitchen. Our previous events have focused on the flavours of whisky, wine and sake, but now we’ll take a closer look at the intricacies of delightful tipples.

With packages available for one, two and three persons, you can choose to wing it solo, or savour dinner with a friend or two:

  • Single (S$68 for one pax)
  • Duo (S$108 for two pax)
  • Trio (S$158 for three pax)

Start the night with Cold Tofu from Mason Kitchen—silken tofu is served cold with homemade mentsuyu (noodle soup base), edamame and flavourful furikake seasoning. Simple, satisfying and the perfect dish to beat our humid heat, you’ll polish this off in no time.

Pair the tofu dish with Kobashi Highball, the first cocktail of the night. Made with Monkey Shoulder, ginger, bonito and sesame, this surprisingly savoury whisky-based tipple will whet your appetite.

The Bakmi Ayam Mason comes next, and this Indonesian street food staple gets a makeover a la Mason. Al dente noodles mingle with minced chicken and shiitake, with crisp bok choy and crunchy tofu crisps. Comfort food at its finest!

Enjoy it together with the 3Cs, an aptly-named cocktail that combines coriander, cucumber, and chilli. With its Milagro tequila base, plus agave and lime for zest and freshness, this refreshing drink goes great with the Bakmi Ayam Mason.

Still hungry? Sink your teeth into the Dumplings, filled with pork and chives, on a bed of kimchi and daikon. Loaded with umami goodness, you get a punch of sour spice from the kimchi and tangy crunchy pickled daikon to mellow out the acidity.

Round off the night with Sin City, an intriguing tipple that uses two contrasting spirits—floral Hendrick’s Gin and smoky mezcal. Hibiscus tea and lemon brighten this cocktail for a lovely lingering nightcap.

If you’re still thinking about what to do this Saturday, you have your answer right here. Cocktails, contemporary Asian dishes and our lovely company—what’s not to love?
