Have you ever dreamt of dining with the fishes? Good news— your dreams are about to come true (well, sort of). Located in Raja Chulan’s decades-old Wisma New Asia’s car park is El Kano Dine & Bar, Malaysia’s very first digital-aquarium restaurant.
As you enter El Kano Dine & Bar, you will be greeted by a cool waiting area with a futuristic entrance. Walk into the seating area and you’ll spot giant panels on the wall depicting more than 200 over projections which showcase the wonders of the underwater universe and mysteries of outer space.
The restaurant serves European specialities with a Spanish spotlight such as Garlic Cream Escargots (RM48) with white wine, micro greens and garlic cream as the finishing touch.
Don’t miss out on the Paella Arroz Negro (RM138), a Spanish specialty at El Kano Dine & Bar. The striking black colour from the squid ink, Hokkaido scallops, green mussels, tiger prawns, garlic aioli and lemon wedges makes this the perfect dish to share amongst 2 hungry diners.
The Poached Oysters (RM22 each) in a beautiful blend of bechamel-based mornay sauce, Pernod noir and parmesan cheese and juicy Pan-Seared Smoked Duck Breast (RM36) are also a must-have.
