Ever heard of the phrase “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”? Well, time to apply that to Father’s Day 2022, which is coming up on 19 June 2022!
There’s really no better way to show how much you appreciate dad for all he’s done than through an indulgent feast. To kick off the celebrations, we’ve whipped up 10 feasts that are worthy of a king so you can show dad how much you love him.
1. Sol & Luna
Is your dad a fan of whiskey and wagyu? He’ll fall in love with Sol & Luna’s Auchentoshan Whiskey Flight Pairing, which pairs a succulent Wood-fired Sanchoku F1 Striploin Bone-in Steak (500g) with three different types of single malt Scotch whiskey.
Priced at S$203++, the indulgent dinner is good for two to three people and covers several award-winning Auchentoshan whiskies, such as the Auchentoshan 12 Years and Auchentoshan 18 Years. The different flavour profiles— velvety smooth with intoxicating aromas like creme brulee or sweet barley— pair perfectly with richly marbled and buttery wagyu steak, which has a marbling score of 4/5.
This whiskey-wagyu pairing is only available from 13 to 19 June 2022 for dinner only.

2. Fat Cow
Fat Cow, an upscale Japanese restaurant in Orchard, is renowned for their extremely high-quality wagyu beef. In fact, I remember forking out a whopping S$158 for our donburi showdown way back!
This Father’s Day, Fat Cow celebrates the man of the house with a specially curated three-course menu that is priced at S$118++ per person. This exclusive menu is only available for lunch from 13 to 20 June 2022, with key highlights including the Miyazaki Steak with Ginger Sauce, a beautifully marbled Miyazaki A4 wagyu steak, Fat Cow’s signature “Fat Rice” and a Sakura Panna Cotta.
If the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu steak isn’t calling out to you, then perhaps the Kampachi Yuanyaki will— a delicately grilled Kanpachi fish that’s marinated in a traditional house-made sauce with sake, mirin, shoyu and yuzu juice.
