Beef Rendang Chips

When talking about beef rendang, your thoughts will most likely go to the usual nasi padang stall that you visit for your dose of Malay food.

What about beef rendang in a chip? F.EAST, short for Flavours of the East, is back with their fourth rendition of locally-flavoured potato chips—Beef Rendang Potato Chips (S$3).

Beef Rendang Chips 3

Open the packet and a whiff of barbecue and rendang awaited me. As I bit into it, a burst of beef rendang flavour exploded in my mouth. It did give off a similar gamey aftertaste that you would expect from a beef rendang dish.

All four flavours of potato chips released by F.EAST will be participating at The Singapore Story food and lifestyle event at Tiong Bahru Plaza from 13 to 18 September 2019. If you are not sure what are the other three flavours, they are Hainanese Chicken Rice, Singapore Laksa and Egg Prata With Fish Curry.

Sounds interesting? Try it out and let me know how you feel about it!

Dates & Times: Available at all 7 -Eleven outlets and Redmart  from 12 September 2019 onwards

Price: S$3 per packet
