Most people head to the airport for a flight. We, on the other hand, might just head there for durian. Perfect Durian at KLIA Terminal 2 is putting a unique spin on the airport dining scene with what’s believed to be the first durian buffet inside an airport.
So if you’ve always joked about squeezing in “one last durian feast” before travelling, you can now make it happen.

The buffet starts from RM98 per person, with a platter of fresh durian flesh featuring a rotating selection of popular cultivars. Depending on the day’s harvest, you can expect favourites like Musang King, Black Thorn, D24, IOI, and Butter King, giving diners the chance to sample different flavour profiles in one sitting.

If your heart belongs to the premium varieties, there’s also the option to top up RM40 for the premium buffet, which focuses exclusively on Musang King and Black Thorn. It’s a worthwhile upgrade for those who prefer richer, creamier flesh and don’t mind going all in on the crowd favourites.

Not looking for an all-you-can-eat experience? Perfect Durian also offers fresh whole durians and boxed durian flesh, making it convenient to enjoy a quick fix or bring some home for family and friends.
Depending on seasonal availability, diners may also receive complimentary watermelon and mangosteen, offering a refreshing palate cleanser between bites.
The experience doesn’t end with fresh durian either. The shop also stocks a variety of durian-themed products, including durian instant coffee, bird’s nest, and tongkat ali, perfect if you’re looking for an edible souvenir or gift.
Located at KLIA Terminal 2, with the nearest parking at Preferred Parking 3, Level CP4, Perfect Durian’s durian buffet is certainly one of the airport’s more unexpected discoveries. It’s not every day you come across a feast like this before boarding a plane, and for durian lovers, that alone makes it a pretty fun excuse to arrive at the airport a little earlier.
