New in town: Foodies’ Garden – Garden-themed food court with beer bar at Hougang Mall

What used to be the Kopitiam at Hougang Mall has now been replaced by a brand new food court called Foodies’ Garden, which opened its doors on 1 Nov 2022. I headed to level four of the shopping centre, and was greeted by loads of green fauna dangling down the signage like vines.

As I headed inside, the plants extended to every nook and cranny of the space, transforming the place into a green oasis.

Tons of sunlight seeped through large glass windows, which illuminated the surroundings and allowed patrons to watch the world go by as they have their meals on the long bar tables. Let’s check this food court out to see what’s available to eat.

Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun has opened another outlet here, where you can savour their freshly-made specialties like the Prawn Cheong Fun (S$5.80) and Mushroom Cheong Fun (S$4.80).

I even spotted my favourite Dough Stick Cheong Fun (S$4.80), which is hardly seen at their other branches. It’s essentially crispy youtiao stuffed with silky soft rice noodle rolls— a lovely play of textures.
