The world famous hot pot restaurant, Haidilao, is celebrating Chinese New Year 2024 by presenting its new Mala Yusheng, available from 15 Jan 2024.

haidilao - yusheng

The Mala Yusheng comes with shredded cucumber, carrots, radish and red cabbage, as well as an assortment of sides like dried chilli and crackers. What makes this yusheng stand out is the fact that it is drizzled with a generous amount of mala sauce and topped with fresh abalone.

This spiced-up version of the traditional Chinese New Year dish makes for an unorthodox and unique lo hei experience, perfect for lovers of mala.

The Mala Yusheng comes in at S$58.80, inclusive of the abalone. If you’re not feeling as adventurous, not to worry, for Haidilao will also be offering a regular yusheng for S$38.80, sans the mala sauce and abalone.

To spruce up your yusheng, you can even add your own condiments and toppings from the condiment bar! The mala mushrooms are a recommended topping, given how the mala flavours from the yusheng and the mushrooms will complement each other. Let your creativity run wild and enjoy an extra special yusheng this year.

haidilao - dancing man

Aside from the new Mala Yusheng, there are other reasons for you to visit Haidilao soon. Haidilao has always been known for its top-notch service, and now, you’ll be able to request for a staff member to dance for you— watch as a waiter in sunglasses busts out dance moves right in front of you, making your dining experience even more entertaining.

haidilao - blind box

Plus, Haidilao diners at selected outlets who finish their meals within 70 minutes will get to take home a free Toy Story mystery blind box, containing an adorable plushie of Lotso the Bear. There are 6 different designs to be collected, including a secret design that is waiting to be discovered.

Be sure to check with the staff if this promotion is available at the outlet that you visit.
