With eight outlets scattered around Hong Kong, the brand is finally expanding beyond the former British colony with its first overseas flagship store in Singapore!

Established since 1920, Hang Heung has evolved from a Chinese-Style restaurant in Yuen Long to a renowned bakery. Embarking on the endeavour to share the heritage of Hong Kong traditional pastries, the brand decided to grow globally starting with a permanent presence in Singapore.

Located in the basement of ION Orchard, we can expect to see the new Hang Heung store up and running by end August or early September 2020, subject to renovation delays that might occur due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lao po bing and egg rolls aside, get ready to stock up for the coming Mid-Autumn Festival with Hang Heung’s mooncakes.

Their Signature Double Yolk White Lotus Seed Mooncake (S$68.80 for four pieces) features a baked skin encasing a smooth and silky paste together with two decadent salted egg yolk. Breaking away from tradition is their Lava Custard Mooncake (S$58.80 for six pieces). Within a thin layer of buttery skin lies a fragrant golden custard filling that is sure to delight!

The good news is, you need not wait for Hang Heung’s flagship store to open before getting your hands on their yummylicious products as they are now available for order online. As icing on the cake, there is also an on-going 15% early bird promotion for all their mooncakes.

The earliest delivery date, however, will only be on 25 August 2020 and free delivery is available for purchases of more than S$150.
