If you’re a beef noodle lover, prepare to update your maps. The best-rated beef noodle stall in Singapore, Hwa Heng Beef Noodle, will be relocating from Bendemeer Market & Food Centre to Upper Boon Keng Market & Food Centre sometime in Dec this year.

According to a notice posted on the storefront, their last day in Bendemeer Market & Food Centre will be on 15 Nov 2025, before reopening in stall #01-84 inside Upper Boon Keng Market & Food Centre.

Hwa Heng Beef Noodle has a complicated history that’s ripe for a TV drama, which I will attempt to summarise.
It was originally known as Odeon Beef Noodles, located in the basement of Scotts Shopping Centre, which has rebranded as Scotts Square. The Odeon name has since been trademarked by one of the original owners’ descendants and franchised out to coffee shops in Singapore.
Another descendant took the Hwa Heng Beef Noodle name and also franchised it, leaving the sole outlet in Bedemeer as the single independent Hwa Heng Beef Noodle in Singapore. In a sign that the drama runs deep, there’s a notice on the stall that states “We have no other branches”.

The stall is known for its Mixed Beef Noodles with Tendon (S$6.50). Tossing the thick white noodles reveals a myriad of toppings. It has beef shank, beef balls, beef stomach, and all your standard goodies. Nowhere else in Singapore can you find a stall so generous.

Don’t skip out on the soup variant either. The tendons are shockingly soft, so soft that they dissolve in your mouth like cotton candy. No wonder the stall has such a high rating.

If you’re a fan of the stall, you have till 15 Nov 2025 to savour their beef noodles before they move and reopen sometime in Dec. Their current location is 29 Bendemeer Rd, Bendemeer Market & Food Centre, #01-86, Singapore 330029. The new address can be found below!
