Despite the popularity surrounding Japanese ramen brand Ippudo, I have yet to try it. Shocking, I know. While my heart says yes, my wallet always says no to the slightly exorbitant prices.
But I pat myself on the back for being patient, because an opportunity has presented itself for me to enjoy their ramen without breaking the bank.
Ippudo Singapore is launching a 1-for-1 ramen promotion from 16 – 18 October 2019, as part of their 34th birthday celebration.
The deal is only available at their Mandarin Gallery and Shaw Centre outlets, so you’ll have to take a trip down to town. But the good news is that all ramen dishes are valid for the 1-for-1 promotion, so the travelling will be worth it!
Besides ramen, you’ll also get to enjoy their takoyaki (four pieces) and karaage (three pieces) at S$3 each.
16 October—which marks Ippudo’s birthday—is also the perfect time to ramen-isce about the good old days. You will get to enjoy a taste of their very first ramen dish, Tokunou Tonkotsu Ramen (S$9.90), which was created back in 1985 on that very date.
Remember to mark your calendars, because there will only be 340 bowls available per outlet (Westgate, Mohamed Sultan, Tanjong Pagar and The Star Vista).
The celebrations don’t just stop there. On 16 October, you can even get yourself a little limited-edition Ippudo ramen phone grip with every bowl of noodles you order—this is available at all outlets.
Make sure to mark your calendars and grab a friend for some 1-for-1 ramen goodness!
Dates & Times: 16 – 18 October 2019
Prices: From S$15 onwards (1-for-1 ramen)
