Known as one of Singapore’s best-rated bak chor mee stalls, Macpherson Minced Meat Noodles has officially reopened after closing for 2 weeks of renovations. With 396 reviews and 4.3 stars on Google reviews, this branch at Tai Thong Crescent seems to be the crowd favourite out of the 5 branches, with the latest opening at Commonwealth Crescent Food Centre last month.

Bak chor mee lovers who have long dined at the chain can breathe a sigh of relief; the fate of the stall was uncertain early this year due to increased rent. Plans to move out of the Tai Thong coffeeshop were in the works as renovations were taking place. The new landlord is a former customer who convinced Macpherson Minced Meat Noodles to stay put.

Prices and the menu have remained unchanged. Customers can still enjoy their favourites, including Minced Meat Noodles (S$5), Xiao Wan Mian (S$7) and Fish Ball Noodles (S$3). Where can you find fishball noodles served at that price? It’s definitely a bargain for your money!

Conveniently located near Potong Pasir MRT, its central location makes it easily accessible for commuters. Nevertheless, with rent prices increasing, Macpherson Minced Meat Noodles just might face more challenges keeping prices affordable in the months to come.
