French social dining restaurant, Merci Marcel, has launched its newest retail concept in the same space, with a plethora of offerings ranging from artisanal food products to whimsical lifestyle goods – bringing a taste of European living to Tiong Bahru.
We had the chance to take a sneak peek at what this cosy retail space has to offer and picked out some of our favourites that you should check out on your next visit here.
In addition to the wide variety of French wines and drinks that they have to choose from, Merci Marcel is also the exclusive retailer for UMA – a 100% organic natural iced tea brand from France that gets its tea leaves from fair-trade farm cooperatives.
You’ll also find a range of jams from La Cour d’Orgères, an artisanal gourmet brand from Brittany, France.
My favourite was the Pear and Vanilla jam, which was richly flavoured from the vanilla, and had a delightfully grainy texture from the pears; perfect with any kind of hard bread or for cheese pairings.
Falcon specialises in a range of beautiful yet functional and chic tableware made from traditional and resistant enamel, which will appeal to those who are looking to add some vintage vibes to their kitchen.
Parisian brand, IZIPIZI brings in the chic appeal with its range of sunglasses, in a variety of classic designs. Pick up a pair to protect your eyes from the Singapore sun, while managing to stay effortlessly stylish too!
