It seems that F&B establishments in Singapore are becoming more and more creative with their marketing strategies. We had Mr Mookata and their shirtless waiters not too long ago, and now, Michin Korean BBQ n Hotpot is offering patrons free food if they can complete a simple challenge, called Hang On For Your Life.
All you need to do is hang from a pull-up bar for 100 seconds without a break. Yes, that’s all you need to do. The rule applies to both male and female diners, though there’s a minimum of two paying adults at each table in order to qualify.
You might remember Michin Korean BBQ’s successful pull-up themed challenge last year, with many customers posting their attempts on social media platforms. Customers last year were required to do 15 pull-ups if they were male, and 10 if they were female.
If you’ve been making dedicated trips to the gym, a meal on the house might just be the perfect reward, along with the opportunity to flex on your friends. After all, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as tucking into a hearty meal after a long workout, right?
Michin Korean BBQ will be holding this promotion until February. If you couldn’t last the 100 seconds on the pull-up bar, fret not, because their ingredients go for S$1.90 per 100g, promising an affordable meal that’s sure to satisfy.
