A new Muslim-owned cafe has just opened around the corner, perfect for you and your missus. Missus Melt (S$16.90), eponymous of the cafe, is made up of their signature four (or more) cheese blend, truffle pate, served with roasted garlic tomato soup and chilli tapioca chips. The pate found in the grilled cheese sandwich will be an interesting twist to an otherwise classic dish. Served with a hearty bowl of tomato soup, this will definitely prove to be a filling meal.

Do take note, grilled cheese sandwiches are only available from 11am onwards.

Exotic Tart (S$16.90), like the name suggests, is made up of exquisite ingredients. It contains coconut, mango, banana and passion fruit mousse on a homemade chocolate feuilletine tart. The zesty combination of fruits will definitely leave a refreshing taste in your mouth, perfect for a sweltering hot day.

Missus’ soft launch menu also contains an All-day selection and Sides, allowing customers to be spoilt for choice.

These tantalising bites have got me itching to try them, especially with the sweltering hot weather nowadays. The sweet treats will definitely help to cool one down, and the sandwiches will give one a satisfactory meal.
