Drive-thrus are one of life’s greatest pleasures. You get to order food without leaving your car and snack on warm snacks on the way home after a busy workday.

Popular snack chain MiX.STOREs flagship store is now open in Penang. And get this— there’s going to be a drive-thru. This double storey outlet even has parking spaces exclusively for its customers.

MiX.STORE is known for its large assortment of imported snacks. Entering one of their 73 outlets will leave you spoiled for choice. Every store has shelf after shelf of potato chips, fruit tea, and ice-cream from countries like China, Korea, Japan, and Thailand.

They carry hard-to-find Lay’s flavours like Numb & Spicy Hot Pot, Roasted Cumin Lamb Skewer, and Texas Grilled BBQ (RM5.20), as well as self-heating ready-to-eat meals like duck hotpot and rice with kung pao chicken or braised pork with mushrooms (RM25.80 – RM33.90)

Unfortunately, MiX.STORE has yet to disclose when the drive thru will be fully operational. They have asked customers to stay tuned to their Facebook and Instagram pages for the grand reveal.

At this brand new outlet, you can stand a chance to receive an eco shopping bag when you spend in store up till 13 Mar 2023, or while stocks last. There will also be special offers on selected snacks like chips, jelly, and drinks. Other than that, get your hands on Lazy Bird’s Thai skewers (starting from RM2 a stick).

MiX.STORE is a great place to visit if you want snacks that you can’t find in your neighbourhood grocery store. Make sure you allocate some time for this trip— you could unknowingly spend more time than anticipated in the store just browsing through their extensive selection of goods!
