Nasi lemak is definitely a go-to dish for Malaysians, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner,  you’ll never go wrong with nasi lemak. Recently, The Nasi Lemak Shop located in Bandar Utama has created a hype for nasi lemak after the Village Park. What makes it even more special is that you can now pair your nasi lemak with Korean bingsu!

As you can see from its name (a very literal one), the signature dish of the shop is… no surprises here… nasi lemak. For RM15.90, you can get a Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng, which features a whole chicken leg. This is also the most popular dish in the restaurant as it is good value for money. The nasi lemak is presented in a vibrant and appetising manner, making me crave it just by looking at the picture.

Other than ayam goreng, the nasi lemak also comes with other sides such as ikan bilis, peanuts, sambal, egg and cucumber. All of these sides act as important companions to complete the dish— you definitely will not want to miss any of these in your nasi lemak

Other than nasi lemak, they also serve a range of other local dishes. For those who aren’t a fans of nasi lemak, you can opt to have a go at their Asam Laksa, Hor Fun Soup, Lontong Nasi Impit, and also Mee Siam!

Don’t forget about the dessert! Bingsu is also one of the popular items to order off the menu. You’ll find a total of  5 five flavours of bingsu here: Mango, Thai Milk Tea, Coconut, Calamansi and Chocolate. The Calamansi bingsu immediately caught my attention when I first saw it on the menu. The combination itself sounds very refreshing.

Do try their nasi lemak and tell us what you think!
