Strategically situated at 23 Serangoon Central, NEX is the biggest mall in the North-East region of Singapore. This 7-storey shopping centre is fully integrated with the Serangoon Bus Interchange and the Serangoon MRT Interchange. Wondering what to buy at NEX?

Here’s what else to buy at the shopping mall with our list of 12 indie stores at NEX. For this list, we define an indie store as one with 5 or fewer outlets across the country.

1. Premier Dead Sea (#B1-53)

Premier Dead Sea is a leading skincare company in Singapore specialising in products that incorporate minerals and ingredients derived from the Dead Sea. Founded in 1990, their range includes a variety of skincare products, speciality treatments and spa services.

Their Skin Toner – Normal to Dry Skin (S$109) is a super gentle and mild alcohol-free toner that contains chamomile, witch hazel and the Dead Sea minerals to help cleanse and calm dry, inflamed skin. This purifying toner removes residue and makeup while balancing your skin and soothing irritations. Unlike most toners, this toner does not contain alcohol.

Their Ultimate Pearl Essence (S$2,499) is a multi-functional treatment featuring an exclusive technology that combines the effects of their Rare Blend and pearl powder to assist in brightening, de-polluting and conditioning the skin, to create a lighter and fresher-looking complexion. 2. 3Sixty Degree Lab (#02-40)

3Sixty Degree Lab is a beauty haven with services focused on relaxation and enhancing natural beauty, including facials, nail care, eyelash extensions, hair removal, haircuts and styling. The salon aims to create a serene and chic environment for their clients to unwind.

Their signature embroidery services include their Crystal Lip Embroidery (S$980), the Korean Tone Lip Embroidery (S$1,480), the Korean PicoTech Advanced Micro-Pigmentation Lips Embroidery (S$1,880) and Upper Eyeliner Embroidery (S$480).

The Milia Oil Seed Removal (Full Face – S$480 for 6 Months, Neck – S$480 for 6 Months, Eyebrow – S$280 for 6 Months and Eye – S$380 for 6 Months) employs radio wave technology, specifically radiofrequency ablation (RFA), to remove milia (oil seeds) by targeting and vaporising the tissue. This method uses high-frequency radio waves absorbed by water in the milia, causing them to break down and be eliminated.
