Some shopping trips are for the wardrobe, others are for the home, and then there are those where you end up browsing both. Japanese fashion and lifestyle label niko and … is bringing that all-in-one shopping experience to Malaysia this December, with its first 2 stores opening at 1 Utama Shopping Centre and Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

If the name sounds familiar, the brand has made a name for itself by treating fashion as just one part of everyday living. Its collections cover clothing for men and women, alongside bags, shoes, accessories, furniture, and homeware.

So, a quick stop to look for a new everyday outfit could easily turn into an hour spent eyeing home accessories you did not know you needed.

Rather than focusing solely on seasonal trends, niko and … takes a more laid-back approach to personal style, pairing casual Japanese fashion with lifestyle goods designed to bring a little character into daily routines.

Think of it as a place to refresh your wardrobe while picking up a few pieces to give your living space some personality, too.

The brand has expanded into several Asian markets, and its Malaysian debut will give local shoppers the chance to explore its collections without having to plan a shopping trip overseas.

The first store will open at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, while the second will be located at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur. Both are scheduled to welcome shoppers in December 2026, although the exact opening dates and further store details have yet to be announced.

For now, keep an eye on niko and … Malaysia’s official social media channels for updates. December might just be a good time to make room in your shopping list for a Japanese label that goes beyond clothes.
