Planning a beach day at Sentosa just got tastier. Palawan Hawkers has officially launched at The Palawan @ Sentosa, and brings a vibrant cluster of 8 food trucks dishing out everything from decades-old heritage recipes to modern fusion bites.

Brought to you by the team behind Cosford Container Park, famous for being Singapore’s largest F&B container park, this pet-friendly open-air space serves up wallet-friendly bites starting at just S$5.90.

Amongst the myriad offerings, look out for nostalgic heritage brands like Qing Heritage Hainanese Chicken Rice. They are known for their Hainanese Kampung Chicken Rice (price TBD) with tender steamed kampung chicken and their signature ginger paste, made from a secret recipe passed down since the 1940s. With its original outlet stationed all the way in Dover, Palawan Hawkers lets  you can enjoy a taste of tradition by the beach.

Nearby, Boon Tat Street BBQ Seafood brings nearly 38 years of history to the shore, firing up smoky grilled BBQ Sambal Stingray (price TBD), BBQ Prawns (price TBD) and Sotong (price TBD). The seafood is then dressed in signature sambal chilli sauce — which was refined by its founder through years of trial and error — before being served on banana leaves to impart extra fragrance into the dish.

If you’re in the mood for something on the more experimental side, look out for Palawan Beer House, evolved from the popular Cluny Toast at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. They offer modern, elevated twists on local classics such as Sourdough Peanut Butter Toast (price TBD) and other innovative dishes created from collaborations with various Singapore dining brands. Some such dishes include Bacon & Egg Pizza by YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar (price TBD) and Authentic Signature Laksa (price TBD) by Nyonyas & Gentlemen at Village Katong Hotel.

To round things off, Urban Truck hits the spot with spicy, cheese-stuffed Indian fusion creations like Stuffed Parathas (price TBD) and Cheesy Kola Meatballs (price TBD), while Creamy Duck Milkshake Bar cures sweet tooth cravings with a trendy Kunafa Pistachio Waffle (price TBD) and a thick, creamy Triple Chocolate Milkshake (price TBD).

Operating daily from 11am to 9pm, it is an ideal pitstop to fuel up without breaking the bank after splashing around Sentosa.
