As Singapore’s cost of living skyrockets, it has become increasingly difficult to find cheap yet good food. Located in Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre, Pang Pang Western Food is here to save our taste buds (and wallets) with their affordable Western cuisine.

Opened very recently on 1 May 2023, this Western stall is helmed by a pair of brothers, Lucas and Bernard. With their experience as chefs at Astons and iSteak in the past, you can rest assured that the duo know what Western is all about!

Worried that your meal was made in a commercial kitchen? No fretting to be done here, as all marination is done right at their hawker stall with no cutting of corners.

Despite all the hard work that goes into each plate, Pang Pang Western Food has one of the most affordable sets I’ve ever seen. Have you ever come across NZ Prime Ribeye (S$14.50) or Steak and Chicken (S$16) at such a steal? Can’t say that I have!

Surprised by this hawker stall’s combination of sides — sunny-side-up egg, broccoli and pasta? According to this news publication, this creative choice is inspired by the Taiwanese breakfast. I’m sure many folks will be glad to know that the pasta is not alio olio but rather a house-made brown sauce.

Get the most out of your visit to Pang Pang Western Food by getting the Super Value Meal. With the 3 different protein combinations, you can indulge in 2 out of the 4 meats this stall has to offer. It definitely helps that the price increase is not drastic, even with the most expensive option of Steak and Pork (S$16.50).

Easties, be sure to stop by Pang Pang Western Food when you’re around the Marine Parade area! Who knows, this stall may be one of your personal favourites very soon. Wallet friendly, very happy.
