I’ve always been a fan of Auntie Anne’s savoury pretzels whenever I need an afternoon perk-me-up snack. Imagine how thrilled I was when I heard that Pretzel Planet had made its grand entry into Singapore’s food scene. Yes! It opened its very first store at the brand-new Sengkang Grand Mall on 18 Mar 2023.

The physical store is decked with eye-catching pink walls and blue tiles, exuding a retro American cinema vibe with huge LED screens showcasing its pretzels.

Their pretzels are light and crispy on the surface while possessing a chewy and sweet mouthfeel. They come in a plethora of sweet and savoury flavours which will be well-loved by patrons of all ages.

I’m particularly intrigued by the S’mores Supreme (S$5.50) which features a torched marshmallow followed by a delicate drizzle of chocolate sauce.

At Pretzel Planet, you’ll also find other sweet flavours like Cookies N Creme (S$4.90), Cinnamon Sugar (S$4.90), Salted Caramel (S$5.50) and Strawberries N Creme (S$4.90).

If you’re into savoury pretzels instead, check out the fragrant Garlic Parmesan (S$4.90), Pepperoni (S$5.50), and Mentaiko (S$5.50).

If you’re feeling thirsty after enjoying the pretzels, you should definitely order either their refreshing Lemon Slushie (S$4) or Grape Slushie (S$4) and pair it with their mouth-popping bobas in strawberry and passion fruit flavours (+S$0.80).

Do note that the pretzels served at Pretzel Planet do not contain any pork, lard or alcohol. Whilst exploring Sengkang Grand Mall, why not drop by and let me know if their pretzels are as good as Auntie Anne’s?
