Rendang In The Kampong

Take a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of the city with Rendang In The Kampong, a half-day trip to Pulau Ubin on 22 July 2017.

Guided by sisters Kemariah & Samsariah Abdullah, you’ll be brought to their century-old wooden village house and kitchen garden surrounded by beautiful greenery.

Learn more about the many uses of the natural herbs, leaves and spices of the forest that the sisters use in their Singapore-Malay cooking style before feasting on a delectable lunch prepared by them.

You’ll be transported to a bygone era of water wells and electric generators before the convenience of modern utilities as you get closer to nature like never before.

Date & Time: 22 July 2017, 11am – 1.30pm (guests must make their own way to Pulau Ubin by 11am)

Ticket Prices: $84 per person
