Travellers heading to or from Sengkang General Hospital should be aware of significant, short-term changes to LRT services between 19 April and 18 October 2026.
During this period, the Sengkang LRT West Loop in the direction through Cheng Lim LRT station (SW1) will be closed to allow for essential upgrades by the Land Transport Authority.

To support commuters during this period, the West Loop via Renjong LRT station (SW8) and the entire Sengkang LRT East Loop will keep functioning. These lines provide alternative travel options, though they may involve short detours depending on your starting point and destination.
Additionally, special shuttle bus services will be deployed to assist those affected by the closure. These buses will stop at key stations and nearby locations, providing a convenient link to Sengkang General Hospital and surrounding areas.
Commuters are encouraged to review the new travel arrangements and shuttle schedules in advance, rather than waiting until the day of travel. Given these service changes, patients with medical appointments, visitors, and hospital staff should plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time, particularly if punctuality is critical.
