The pizza scene in Singapore is a near-saturated one. Some pizza places offer two-for-one deals, discounted sides, and the list goes on. A few lack the proper expertise to sustain themselves for long. And now, one pizza joint is back in Singapore! Soon to launch on 27 Sep 2022, Shakey’s Pizza Parlor at Lucky Plaza brings its decades of experience to the Singapore pizza market and this has got us excited.
To many, Shakey’s Pizza Parlor may seem like an up-and-coming pizza joint but it is actually an established pizza chain based in the United States and operating since 1954! One of their first forays into the Asian market was in the Philippines where it became the country’s number one full-service pizza chain and full-service restaurant chain.
It has actually begun its operations in Singapore with a soft launch on 7 March 2022 but only offered a limited menu. Gradually, they have increased their menu items whilst preparing for the Halal certification.
The best-selling pizza is the Manager’s Choice (S$21.60) that’s loaded with chicken ham, beef, Italian sausage, green bell pepper and onions on their world-famous thin crust pizza dough. Other all-time favourite pizza options include the Spinach & Glazed Bacon (S$21.60) filled with creamy spinach and topped with sweet, glazed turkey bacon with a blend of different cheeses.
Apart from pizzas, Shakey’s Pizza Parlor offers other food items on its menu. The Skilletti (S$12.70) is a pasta covered in rich tomato sauce topped with turkey bacon, salami herbs and spices. It is served with garlic bread. They are also known for their Mojos™ which are deep-fried potato slices and have been trademarked. Get them in Mojos™ ‘N’ Dip (S$8.60) with your choice of dip.
To celebrate their official opening, Shakey’s Pizza Parlor will be offering a 1-for-1 promo for all pizzas from 27 Sep to 29 Sep 2022. That’s two whole Manager’s Choice pizzas just for me!
