This is not a drill, Shi Nian (石年) is doing it again!
Shi Nian (石年) is giving away Pig Trotter Rice and Pig Leg Rice for free in conjunction with the launch of their 3 new outlets, no strings attached.
With their immense success, they still want to ensure that their food quality is consistent, so giving away free pig trotters is a great way to gain customers’ feedback while giving back to the people who support them.

Since the last time we wrote about Shi Nian (石年), their business (or shall I say empire at this point), has continued to expand and gain even more recognition. Even after their initial launch promotion, queues still form in front of their stalls— everyone wants a bite of their savoury pig legs.
In fact, their food even won the heart of one of our writers, who gave the outlet at Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre a 5 star rating.

You can claim your free bowl of pig trotter rice or pig leg rice worth S$5.90 each on the first 3 days of operations, all-day from 10.30am to 9pm. Along with rice and meat, each dish also comes with a prawn cake and salted vegetables.

The outlet located at Redhill Food Centre (#01-22) opens on 20 Apr 2023, which means they’ll be offering their free bowls of food until 22 Apr 2023. So mark your calendars!
They’re also launching an outlet at Canberra Hawker Centre (#01-13). The promotion is applicable at this branch from 5 to 7 May 2023.
Lastly, the stall at Jem Kopitiam (#05-01) begins operations on 5 May 2023, so drop by anytime between the launch date until 7 May 2023 for your free pig trotters.

As mentioned above, Shi Nian (石年) isn’t playing any tricks. All you have to do is get in line and wait for your turn. Each customer is only allowed to order 1 bowl at a time, so if you want another, be prepared to queue up again. You’re not aren’t allowed to order on someone else’s behalf either. You know what they say, friends who wait in line together, stay together.
Make your way to one of their latest outlets before time runs out!
