Have A Taste Of Taiwan At Singapore’s First Shilin Night Market (士林夜市) In Kranji This Apr

Ask anyone what’s one thing you’ve got to check off when in Taiwan and you’ll definitely get a bunch of recommendations to visit the night markets.

Well, if you’re planning a trip there soon, you might want to put that on hold.

Singapore will be getting its very own Shilin Night Market 士林夜市 from 19 – 21 April and 26 – 28 April 2019, over at The Grounds @ Kranji, in Singapore Turf Club.

For two exclusive weekends, we think this is one event you’re going to have to make time for.

Don’t expect an exact replica of the Taiwan night market, this rendition will be adapting its concept from the original. With a promising variety of Taiwanese and street eats, local vendors will be adding a local twist to the hyped event.

We’re certainly expecting large fried chicken, oyster mee sua (wheat vermicelli) and bubble tea drinks to make a debut.

The highly-anticipated food fest will also be holding movie screenings, as well as pop-up arcade games and stores.

It may seem a little early to make plans but we suggest blocking the dates out, lest you forget.
