The award-winning chain restaurant hailing from China, 蜀都丰 SO DO FUN, has opened its first outlet in Singapore within Midtown House in Bugis.

The chain boasts over 100 outlets in China and is the proud recipient of numerous awards— SO DO FUN once broke a national record for having an 11-hour long queue!

The restaurant is helmed by Master Chef Peng Ziyu, who has worked in the culinary industry for over 60 years. He is recognised globally for his mastery of Sichuan cuisine.

The Boiled Live Fish is the key signature dish at SO DO FUN, with over 1 million plates being sold annually. The live fish is delivered daily and is freshly prepared to order. The dish is available in 3 broths: Spicy, Peppercorn and Sauerkraut. Enjoy a 2 pax serving for S$42.90 (S$39.90 for members) or a 3 to 4 pax serving for S$52.90 (S$49.90 for members).

Other delicious signatures to check out are the Marbled Beef Mapo Tofu (S$22.90 for public, S$19.90 for members) and Grilled Prawns with Vermicelli and Minced Garlic (S$21.90 for public, S$18.90 for members). Mao Xue Wang (S$29.90 for public, S$26.90 for members), made with spicy beef tripe and black soybean, is not to be missed either.

SO DO FUN also has an assortment of sides and hot dishes to share with your loved ones. Dig into some Tender Frog with Peppercorn (S$35.90 for public, S$32.90 for members) or Diced Crispy Chicken with Chilli Peppers (S$23.90 for public, S$21.90 for members) if you like a bit of spice in your life. If you have a low spice tolerance, you can opt for less fiery dishes like the Sichuan Farmhouse Crispy Pork (S$11.90) and Shredded Pork in Fragrant Sauce (S$16.90).

Finally, end your meal on a sweet treat with desserts such as the Brown Sugar Ice Jelly (S$3.90) and Sugared Glutinous Rice Balls (S$4.90).
